The Senior Manager, IT Field Operations is responsible for leading diverse teams that oversees the management of IT services and end-user compute across a global network of over 200 sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all field operations meet organizational standards, support business needs, and drive efficiencies. The Sr Manager, IT Field Operations collaborates closely with IT and business leaders, and acts as a bridge between IT and business. The position requires strategic leadership to align field IT support and service delivery with broader corporate objectives, while managing a team of IT field engineersResponsibilities

Ensure consistent and reliable IT service delivery across over 200 sites worldwide, establishing and enforcing IT standards, procedures, and best practices while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and minimizing operational downtime.Manage, mentor, and develop a team of field IT managers and engineers. Provide guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to build a high-performing, customer-focused team capable of handling the unique challenges of a distributed, multi-site environment.Build and nurture strong relationships with business leaders across all locations, acting as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to align IT field operations with business goals. Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business units, ensuring clear communication and understanding of business needs, priorities, and challenges.Lead the planning and execution of a comprehensive global IT refresh program, ensuring that all end-user hardware across 200+ sites remain up-to-date, secure, and capable of meeting evolving business needs. Develop and oversee the program roadmap, prioritizing sites and assets based on business requirements, equipment lifecycle, and performance impact.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for field IT operations. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring contractual compliance and cost-effective delivery of services that meet organizational needs and standards.Determine the allocation of resources to optimize IT support across a large, multi-site network. Make decisions on prioritizing projects and initiatives based on business impact, resource availability, and alignment with strategic objectives.Oversee and manage the IT Field Operations budget, ensuring efficient allocation of financial resources to support business needs. Develop and monitor budgets, forecast spending, and track expenses to maintain financial discipline within allocated limits.Quickly identify the root causes of complex, multi-layered IT issues affecting diverse global sites, and develop solutions that restore functionality with minimal disruption. This requires analyzing incident patterns, coordinating across teams, and implementing both immediate and long-term resolutions that prevent recurrence.Solve challenges arising from differing business and IT priorities by facilitating effective communication and alignment between IT teams and business leaders.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience8+ years of experience in IT service management, IT field operations, or a related technology role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position managing distributed teams.Job Info
