, to be based in our Chicago office which is located in Schiller Park, IL. As a Project Manager for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for managing complex construction projects that make our nation’s structures stronger and last longer.The successful candidate will be also be responsible for:Managing self-performed, complex repair and restoration projectsPreparing contracts and negotiating revisions while working with internal contracts teams as neededDeveloping and managing schedules in collaboration with field leadershipMaintaining profit & loss responsibility as well as other project financials including projections, etc.Providing strong leadership and supervision to project teams (including other Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and field crews) and subcontractorsWorking closely with in-house Estimators and Sales teams to assist in reviewing bids and developing proposalsDeveloping and maintaining strong customer relationshipsDemonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projectsCandidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position:Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering or related field of study5-12 years of relevant experience within the Industrial construction and/or restoration industryDemonstrated capability to successfully manage construction projects in the range of $1 Million - $5 Million in contract valuePrevious experience managing projects that include structural concrete repair, strengthening and/or industrial maintenance projectsTravel expectation is 75%Our ideal candidate is an innovative but decisive individual who can work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-based environment; has the ability to set goals and expectations and hold others accountable; can encourage and mentor others; is approachable, empathetic and outgoing; can quickly gain trust and respect; and is able to establish and maintain relationships.STRUCTURAL is proud of a company culture that promotes 24/7 safety and quality.
