We are currently recruiting for a
Senior Construction Project Manager
to be based in our Chicago office, which is located in Schiller Park, IL. As a Senior Project Manager for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for managing complex industrial construction projects that make our nation's structures stronger and last longer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing self-performed complex repair and restoration projectsPreparing contracts and negotiating revisions while working with internal contracts teams as neededDeveloping and managing schedules in collaboration with field leadershipMaintaining profit & loss responsibility as well as other project financials including projections, etc.Providing strong leadership, mentorship and supervision to Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and subcontractorsWorking closely with in-house Estimators and Sales teams to assist in reviewing bids and developing proposalsEvaluating risk and loss exposure on projects managedDeveloping and maintaining strong customer relationshipsDemonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projects
Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering or related field of study10-17 years of relevant experience within the industrial construction and/or restoration industryDemonstrated capability to successfully manage construction projects up to roughly $5 million - $15 million in contract valuePrevious experience managing projects that include structural concrete repairProven knowledge of computer-based programs including Microsoft Office as well as project management and forecasting toolsStrong leadership skills to effectively train and mentor others
