We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized

Portfolio Coordinator

to support the management and execution of portfolio activities. The Portfolio Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including the preparation of burn charts in Excel, the generation of weekly and monthly status reports, and the effective use of project management and timekeeping tools like Jamis. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:Support portfolio management through administrative tasks and coordination of project activities.Create and maintain burn charts and other key performance metrics using Excel to track project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.Prepare and submit accurate monthly and weekly status reports detailing project performance, risks, and issues.Assist with project tracking, reporting, and documentation, ensuring adherence to portfolio timelines and objectives.Manage and maintain records in Jamis, including project financials, invoicing, and contract compliance.Coordinate portfolio meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure portfolio alignment with business goals.Support risk management by identifying potential issues and ensuring proper documentation and mitigation strategies.Ensure adherence to internal processes, policies, and procedures throughout the portfolio lifecycle.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience in administrative or coordinator roles, preferably within a project or portfolio management setting.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features like pivot tables, charts, and formulas.Working knowledge of Jamis or similar project management/financial systems.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.PMP certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience working within a government contracting environment.Familiarity with financial reporting and contract compliance in project portfolios.Ability to work independently and within a team.
