This includes analyzing cost data, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing strategies to optimize profitability and efficiency.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsParticipate in the month-end close, including preparation of inventory journal entries and account reconciliations.Collaborate with FP&A Manager for the monthly forecasts and annual planning process in terms of standard cost setting and understanding the cost trends.Perform monthly cost variance analysis of standard to actual production cost.Perform periodic review of bills of material to ensure accurate product costing.Lead annual physical inventory count.Assist operations to achieve and maintain close to 100% accuracy in cycle count program.Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce carrying costs.Work cross-functionally to identify and drive product cost improvement metrics and actions.Provide assistance during internal and external audits; gather necessary supporting documents to ensure successful audit completion.Develop and maintain inventory control procedures and policies.Provide finance business partner support on specific cost initiatives.Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior management decisions.JOB QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysisStrong product costing technical skills with strong focus on continuous process improvementExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsAdvanced Excel skillsERP environment: JD Edwards/OneStream experience preferredConsistently operates at the highest level of integrity and is never willing to compromise with regards to ethical standardsINTERPERSONAL QUALIFICATIONSAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationshipsClear and effective communication skillsAbility to organize multiple responsibilities and deliver results in an accurate and timely manner while adapting to changes in prioritiesAbility to work cross functionally within a geographically diverse organizationDetail and process orientedAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?IDEX is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Affirmative Action Employer.
