Frontgrade is seeking a Program Manager II to lead and direct all phases of development projects from inception through completion. The Program Manager will act as the primary customer contact for program activities. The Program Manager will manage several projects, with support from the program management team, to deliver the agreed scope within planned quality, time and cost parameters to satisfy the specified requirements and drive for customer and stakeholder satisfaction. This position will support both Frontgrade Long Island sites in Hauppauge and Plainview.Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Partner with and guide the Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) through all phases of a program from inception through planning, execution, monitoring/control and closure.· With the help of the IPT, define the objectives and strategies of the program or projects, to include strategic and company objectives consistent with customer and contractual requirements.· Provide the customer and Frontgrade leadership with accurate program status.· Build a solid relationship with the customer, managing customer satisfaction.· Controls the timely start and completion of program tasks to assure fulfillment of program cost and schedule objectives.· Conducts regular reviews of program performance, evaluating the current and projected status against the approved plan.· Develops and implements a proactive risk management plan in coordination with program/project teams.· Motivates the IPT to continually look for opportunities to improve upon program cost and schedule objectives.· Assures regular team identification, action planning, closure and review of program issues.· Promotes effective and open communication throughout the program team and with stakeholders.· Comfortable with the use of MS Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.· Ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-velocity environment.· Basic understanding of business finance.Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum· Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years’ work experience in a related discipline within a technically driven industry or a Master's Degree with 1+ years’ experience· Program Management experience directing complex development projects from inception through completion.· Knowledge of DoD Program Management standards and operating procedures.· Drive, enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to develop program management excellence.· Innovative problem solver.· Solid interpersonal skills (communication, motivation, persuasion).· This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.Preferred· Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business discipline.· CAPM (certified associate in program management) or PMI/PMP Certification· Experience leading/managing projects over $500,000 in scope· Proven success of on-time/on-budget project delivery.· Proven leader.· Goal oriented, balancing task, team and individual needs to achieve the right outcomes.

This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.Pay Range:
