SuperBam is looking for a Post-Production Coordinator. This role is essential in ensuring our content meets the highest standards and reaches audiences on time. As the Post-Production Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in organizing, scheduling, and overseeing the end-to-end post-production process, maintaining quality control, and working closely with both internal teams and external freelancers to streamline and elevate our workflow.Responsibilities
Coordinate Post-Production Workflow: Organize and oversee the post-production process, including video editing, graphics, sound design, and final delivery of YouTube videos.Maintain Post-Production Schedules: Work with the production team to develop and maintain post-production calendars, tracking the progress of multiple projects to ensure timely delivery.File and Asset Management: Ensure that all video and audio files, graphics, and related assets are properly organized, labeled, and archived for easy access.Collaborate with Post-Production and Channel Management: Work closely with editors, channel managers, and graphic artists to facilitate a smooth and efficient workflow.Quality Control: Review video drafts and provide feedback to ensure they meet creative, technical, and YouTube-specific standards (e.g., length, resolution, thumbnails).Vendor and Freelancer Coordination: Manage relationships with external editors, motion designers, or any freelance support, ensuring clear communication of deadlines and expectations.Video Metadata and Uploading: Coordinate with the content team to prepare videos for upload.Post-Production Software Management: Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or other post-production tools to manage workflows or communicate technical issues effectively.Budget Tracking: Monitor and report on post-production expenses, ensuring projects stay within budget.Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the current workflow and propose solutions to streamline the post-production process.Assisting with Edits: Setting up project templates and assisting with edit requests during down time.Qualifications
Proven experience in video post-production coordination or a similar role, ideally within digital or YouTube content production.Strong understanding of video post-production processes, including editing, sound design, and motion graphics.Proficiency with post-production tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.Experience with YouTube’s video requirements, best practices, and platform-specific optimization.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.Ability to work under tight deadlines and remain calm in fast-paced production environments.Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and basic video troubleshooting.Preferred Skills
Experience in producing and editing digital video content for YouTube.Knowledge of YouTube analytics and how post-production impacts viewership and engagement.Familiarity with cloud-based storage systems (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io).Basic understanding of copyright issues, music licensing, and video monetization strategies.
