The Senior Analyst, Business Development supports the effort to bring in new franchisees to the North American Burger King footprint and work on Development Agreements and Remodel agreements with new partners. This includes sourcing new partners, diligence new partners, building a bench of potential future partners, playing the part as an internal broker (M&A) and managing the deal process from intro to seller through legal documents and deal close.Roles and Responsibilities:Work closely with business unit leaders in developing and executing business development strategy for long-term growth of the Burger King brandAttract the highest quality prospective franchisees, marketing the opportunity externallyBuild and lead financial models, outputs and scenarios for diligence and deal structuringConduct due diligence on prospective candidates and partners, including in-person Discovery Days with prospective franchiseesOrganize and attend industry sourcing conferences across the United States and CanadaDirectly negotiate development and remodel agreements with prospective franchisees. Liaise between Development, Franchising and Field teams to gather necessary insights for negotiationsDevelop and deliver presentations both internally and externally to executive level leadershipRequired Skills:Undergraduate Bachelor’s degreeYears of experience 2-4Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and project management skillsExcel and financial modeling for diligence and deal negotiationPowerPoint and presentation structuringAbility to collaborate with different departments to collect variety of data and structure pitch to potential franchisee partnersHonesty, high integrity, personal accountability and a passion for the success of the brand, the team, and personal career growthBenefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness.
