Job SummaryThe Manager, Pricing Strategy and Analytics plays a lead role in the development and execution of pricing strategies focused on maximizing AMC profitability. This role focuses on developing sound analytical approaches to identify and inform key business decisions. The manager will leverage analytical insights to evaluate current pricing against current market dynamics and make recommendations on future pricing strategies.This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.What you will be doing:
Serve as the analytical leader responsible for identifying, shaping, and evaluating current and future pricing opportunities.Leverage internal and external data sources to build data models that inform key business decisions.Evaluate market-level dynamics and competitive landscape to measure the effectiveness of pricing actions and identify opportunities to evolve strategies.Lead pricing pilot initiatives, establishing measurement frameworks to evaluate new pricing concepts.Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights, and communicate them to key internal and external partners, using dashboards and other tools to effectively present data.Work with food & beverage and procurement teams to ensure alignment between menu pricing architecture and food & beverage strategy.Create and maintain price elasticity models for food and beverage menu items.What we need from you:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.6+ years of hands-on experience in pricing, economic, marketing, financial or operational analytics.Proficiency with statistical programs and concepts including regression, price elasticity, and predictive modeling.Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and Microsoft Excel.Experience developing and analyzing impact of consumer pricing strategies.Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results.A proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.What we also value (preferred):
Predictive modeling experience.Experience with statistical modeling packages such as R, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), and Statistical Analysis System (SAS).Advanced skills in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling.Experience in the entertainment, hospitality/travel, or food service industries.Experience using machine learning and/or AI to enhance decision-making.Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems, while also coaching team members on these skills.AMC team members enjoy a very competitive benefits package including a hybrid (remote/in-office) schedule and annual bonus opportunity for most positions.
