Medicaid IT Business Analyst

An employer is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join their team in Hartford, CT. For the right resource, this can be a remote position aligned to Eastern Standard Time, but there may be occasional travel required to Hartford, CT. This is open because this state agency is going through a large initiative to modernize all of their legacy Medicaid systems. The agency will be onboarding various implementation and software vendors for this greater initiative, and they are in need of an IT Business Analyst to be in charge of gathering and drafting requirements and design specifications to ensure the vendors are building the right solution for the stakeholders. They will be involved in the validation of requirements, and will utilize Jira primarily as their tracking and requirements tool. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and requirements skills that has worked closely with vendors and has a background in the Medicaid or healthcare domain with experience in the claims provider area. This person should have experience working in a matrixed environment and have exemplary communication skills both written and oral.
