Job Description
ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is seeking a qualified candidate for a Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) to support our Army Analytics Group located in Fairfield CA.
PROGRAMSUMMARY:
The Army Analytics Group (AAG) provides system configuration and analytical services for the Army's senior leadership and innovative application and data integration across the Enterprise. AAG provides problem solving capabilities that involve massive enterprise data integration and analysis coupled with the most advanced information technology (IT) solutions. AAG accomplishes this work through a series of projects, which configure existing solutions to network people, data, and tools to fix a problem. In addition, AAG provides security portals and application security fixes as a gateway function for programs to migrate to Army Center consolidation platforms to include cloud platforms.Broadleaf Division provides support services to AAG in the areas of; Software maintenance and enhancements for AAG supported applications, Data Integration and Transformation services for AAG supported applications, Provide Security Code Scanning and documentation for AAG managed applications, Provide quality assurance supporting data integration and transformation services for AAG managed applications, Provide Configuration and Change management services for AAG managed applications, Provide DevOps services supporting continues integration and continuous delivery of software for AAG managed applications.JOB DUTIES:
Infrastructure Management:Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and efficient Azure infrastructure.Use Azure services like Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Virtual Networks, and Storage Accounts.Automation and Scripting:Automate deployment and management tasks using tools like Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or Terraform.Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to streamline provisioning and configuration.Monitoring and Optimization:Implement monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.Optimize performance and cost-efficiency, analyzing cloud resource usage and recommending improvements.Security and Compliance:Ensure the security of cloud resources using Azure Security Center, Azure AD, and other security tools.Implement compliance policies, access controls, and best practices for securing data and applications on Azure.Networking and Connectivity:Configure virtual networks, subnets, VPNs, and other networking components.Manage network security and ensure reliable, secure connectivity for applications.Disaster Recovery and Backup:Develop and implement disaster recovery plans using Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup.Ensure data resiliency and business continuity with backup and restoration strategies.Troubleshooting and Support:Resolve issues related to Azure services, ensuring system reliability and uptime.Provide technical support and assist in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and application-related issues.Collaboration and Documentation:Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate Azure services into workflows.Document cloud architecture, configurations, and processes for easy reference and team collaboration.Stay Updated on Azure Technologies:Stay informed on the latest Azure services, tools, and industry best practices.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
Five (5) or more years cloud engineering experience preferredHave experience with systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.CLEARANCE LEVEL:
Secret clearance, or eligible to obtain Secret clearanceCERTIFICATION:
Security + CE(preferred)EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or Related Field
