Spherion Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing company where you'll play an integral role in producing high-quality component. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to precise specifications.
Responsibilities:Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts.Set up machines, perform tool changes, and make adjustments as needed.Interpret blueprints to understand job requirements.Conduct quality control checks using tools such as calipers.Handle materials safely and efficiently during machining.Adhere to established machining processes.Collaborate with team members to improve production processes.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:Experience in CNC machining, specifically with lathes (required).Proficiency in CNC programming (preferred).High school diploma or GED (required).Basic blueprint reading skills.Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.Ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks.Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for 8 hours.Must be able to read English and perform basic math functions.Previous factory experience (preferred).
