Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.

What We Offer$20.81-$25.50/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidatesAdditional Pay for your bilingual skillsAs a Dental Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain medical records and vital signsConduct complete X-ray procedures and set up for examsRecord periodontal data, perform periodontal care, and administer nitrous oxideEducate on oral hygiene, assist with infection control, may help with orthodontics, along with other tasks as assignedMinimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)CPR CertificationBLS certificationSurgical Technologist Registration if assisting a Dentist in the operating roomDental Assistant Registration or EFDA certificationBilingual proficiency in English/Spanish required (level 10 for differential pay)Basic knowledge of medical/dental terminology, dental anatomy, dental materials/instruments, infection control techniques, and oral health care instructionAbility to perform four-handed dental assisting, including instrument transfer, oral evacuation, cement mixing, and spatulationStrong level of manual dexterity and coordination. Ability to effectively interact professionally with various patients of all ages and employeesBasic proficiency in an Electronic Dental Record (EDR), Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelOur mission celebrates diversity.
