The Opportunity:
CACI currently has an opening for an IT Asset Management Analyst to join our CACI Enterprise Services team. In this role, you'll contribute your skills in areas such as inventory management, license compliance and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management : Maintain an up-to-date inventory of software licenses and installations across the organization.License Compliance : Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and software usage policies to avoid legal issues and fines.Usage Analysis : Monitor software usage to identify underutilized or redundant software, helping to optimize costs.Vendor Management : Collaborate with software vendors to negotiate contracts and renewals, ensuring favorable terms for the organization.Reporting : Generate reports on software assets, usage trends, compliance status, and financial implications for stakeholders.Policy Development : Develop and maintain software asset management policies and procedures to streamline processes.Audits and Reviews : Prepare for and participate in software audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.Stakeholder Communication : Work closely with IT, finance, and legal departments to ensure alignment on software asset management practices.Training and Awareness : Educate staff on software asset management policies and best practices to promote compliance and efficiency.Tool Management : Utilize software asset management tools to track, analyze, and manage software assets effectively.Qualifications:
Required:
2-5 years in IT asset management, software management, or a related field.Experience with various software licensing models (e.g., perpetual, subscription) is important.Proficiency in software asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).Strong analytical skills to assess software usage and compliance data.

Understanding of IT infrastructure and software deployment processes.Desired:
A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field is often preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and presenting findings.Strong negotiation skills for dealing with vendors and contracts.Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.Knowledge of software licensing laws and regulations.Familiarity with project management principles can be an asset.Relevant certifications such as Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), or similar can be beneficial.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
