HR GeneralistOnsite – Salem, OR$70,000-$75,000/year DOEWe are partnering with a well-established, community-oriented company with a century-long history of commitment to employee and customer satisfaction, seeking a proactive, detail-oriented HR Generalist. As a key member of the HR team, the HR Generalist will provide essential support with both the technical aspects of HR processes and building positive relationships with employees, managers, and senior leaders. This position works closely with our Employee Experience team to manage various HR functions, from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, benefits, and employee relations.Key Responsibilities :Full-Cycle RecruitingOversee recruiting through the ATS.Post job openings, review applications, and communicate with candidates.Coordinate with hiring managers for screening and interview scheduling.Make offers and facilitate in-person onboarding.Payroll SupportCollaborate with payroll representatives to ensure smooth payroll processing.Add employees to system for payroll, manage employee changes, process out-of-cycle checks, pay increases, and bonuses.Act as an onsite payroll resource to answer questions and troubleshoot issues.Employee RelationsServe as onsite HR support for employees and managers.Navigate and resolve employee issues with empathy and professionalism, escalating as needed.Build trusting relationships and remain approachable.Leave RequestsManage employee leave requests and handle necessary paperwork.Work with necessary teams for coordination as required.Benefits AdministrationAddress benefits-related questions, provide resources, and support open enrollment.HR DocumentationAssist with documentation needs, including annual reviews, pay increases, investigations, and performance management documents.Employee EngagementHelp organize employee events, company parties, and engagement activities.Qualifications :Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with pivot tables and charts is a plus.Familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems.Ability to quickly learn new HR technology and leverage training resources.Ability to balance technical acumen with relational skills, creating a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Process-oriented, asks the right questions, takes notes, and maintains a system to track tasks and deadlines.Demonstrates servant leadership with a genuine commitment to the company’s legacy and values.Located in Portland, the Specialized Recruitment Group is an esteemed, niche-based professional recruitment firm that thrives in partnering with companies at the local, regional, and national levels to identify exceptional talent across diverse industries.
