The posted UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. A reasonable estimate for this position is $66,259-$100,224. The starting compensation for teaching one course in the summer is $7,076.Percent Time:
44% to 50% per course, depending on teaching responsibilities.Anticipated Start:
For Fall Semester: July 1, or August 1; For Spring Semester: January 1; For Summer Semester: June 20.Review Timeline:

The Department of Mathematics at the University of California invites applications for a pool of qualified non-tenure track lecturers to teach a range of mathematics courses.Teaching Responsibilities:
We are seeking outstanding lecturers capable of teaching one or more courses in the undergraduate mathematics curriculum. Courses will be assigned on an as-needed basis.General Duties:
In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), maintaining a course website, and using a learning management system (e.g., bCourses at UC Berkeley, Canvas, etc.).Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
(required at time of application) : Applicants must have an advanced degree or be enrolled in an advanced degree program at the time of application.Additional Qualifications
(required at time of start) : An advanced degree is required by the start date.Preferred Qualifications:
PhD (or equivalent international degree) in Mathematics or related field, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and documented experience in teaching at the college level.Application Requirements
