PLNU adjunct pay: Using a 3-unit full semester appointment as a pay guide, the adjunct pay range is $4,860 - $6,480. The units will determine the actual salary.Job Status:

Part timeJob Description:The Master of Science in Occupational Therapy is seeking candidates for an adjunct teaching position in occupational therapy. The University is seeking an individual capable of excellent teaching. Responsibilities begin May or August 2024 and will include teaching a wide variety of courses in occupational therapy.Responsibilities:Provide instruction in occupational therapy on a variety of subjects.Successful candidate will work strategically with diverse colleagues, students, and community members.Engage in personal scholarship and scholarship with students (where possible).Advise students academically, spiritually, and socially.Participate in departmental activities.Serve on faculty committees/working groups and perform other normal faculty duties.Contribute to preparing students for their post graduate career and finding who they are called to be.Qualifications:Education: Master of Science or a terminal degree in occupational therapy.Experience: Evidence of a commitment to excellence in graduate teaching.Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching students from diverse backgrounds is preferred.Philosophical: Thorough commitment to the concept of Christian liberal arts education and a desire to work in a Christian university. Please realize that there may not presently be an adjunct position available. When an opening becomes available for which you would be a good match, the department chair will be in contact with you for further dialogue, interviews, etc. Approved applicants will remain in the adjunct pool for the upcoming school year only. To be reconsidered for the following school year, applicant will need to reapply.
