The Senior Director, Constituent Strategies, Foundations reporting to the Executive Director, Constituent Strategies is a writer and strategist who provides top-level communication collateral, relationship-building research, and effective strategy in all media channels with a particular focus on foundations, grant writing and reporting. This position supports Institutional Advancement in all fundraising efforts, partnering with regional Chief Development Officers; Enterprise Directors of Campaign, Corporate Alliance, and Special Events; Major Gift Officers; and others who require effective messaging to optimize and streamline success.Essential Functions:Identifies foundation prospects for the funding of the Enterprise's highest priorities and plans the solicitation of those prospects. This includes working with physicians and researchers as well as senior management and close coordination with Institutional Advancement leadership.Develop creative narratives with other fundraisers to communicate urgent and compelling funding priorities for the Enterprise.Attend meetings with a broad cross section of Nemours stakeholders including associates, executives, volunteers, and donors, developing ideas and content first-hand to coordinates Nemours' opportunities with corporate and foundation funders.Works with colleagues to develop funding proposals and carry out all of the documentation and reporting required by funders and prospective funders.Manages the timely reporting of progress and evaluation of all grant-funded programs.Attend meetings with a broad cross section of Nemours stakeholders including associates, executives, volunteers, and donors, developing ideas and content first-hand.Other writing responsibilities will include -- but are not limited to -- talking points for events, articles for Nemours Fund team publications, letters of inquiry, departmental/project overviews, case statements, and various donor letters.Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed.Job Requirements:Bachelors degree required.5 or more years of job related experience required.
