Position Overview:We are seeking a passionate and experienced
Director of Program Assessment/Principal Faculty to join our dynamic PA Program team in Round Rock, Texas. This role involves close collaboration with the Program Director, faculty, statisticians, and other key participants to conduct ongoing self-assessments of program quality and effectiveness, ensuring compliance with ARC-PA 5th edition Accreditation Standards for Physician Assistant Education.Key Responsibilities:Program Evaluation:Collaborate with the Program Director, faculty and key participants in the collection and analysis of program data.Gather qualitative and quantitative data from students, graduates, faculty, and staff.Analyze data related to institutional support, resources, operational policies, curriculum, and clinical sites.Identify strengths and weaknesses, developing actionable improvement plans in collaboration with the evaluation committee.Instructional:Teach a variety of classes in both the didactic and clinical phases of the program.Develop and update course syllabi, required readings, and learning objectives.Participate in updating course content and teaching methods to reflect current evidence-based medicine.Clinical Education:Assist in the administration and development of the clinical education phase.Coordinate the annual clinical year calendar and rotation schedule.Develop and update clinical course syllabi and objectives for all rotations.Academic Advising:Maintain office hours for academic advising and student consultation.Monitor students’ academic and clinical performance to ensure their success and entry-level competency.Institutional Service:Actively participate in departmental, division, and university-wide committees.Assist in maintaining accreditation standards and participate in official university events.Engage in faculty development and orientation activities as directed by the Program Director and Dean.Qualifications:Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.Experience in program evaluation, assessment, or accreditation processes.Strong collaborative and leadership skills.Commitment to enhancing educational practices and student success.Why Join Us?This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our PA program and contribute to the development of healthcare professionals.
