You have energy and drive in abundance, a passion for serving our customers, and possess a growth mindset and love of continuous learning, with an appreciation for diverse perspectives and helping others win.Position Overview:As the Field Application Specialist, you will be responsible for performing instrument installations, demos, customer training, and technical product support for Anatomical Pathology instrumentation and consumables. You must have the ability to effectively communicate and perform histology lab procedures and best practices. The ability to manage installation scheduling, training coordination, and administrative responsibilities with minimal supervision is required.Location:

This is a field-based position located in California. The ideal candidate is located nearby a major airport in this region.What will you do?Interpret and understand customer user requirements and how they relate to product functionality.Provide troubleshooting and resolution of customer's technical issues, and assist in understanding the appropriate use of Anatomical Pathology products.Handle requests for the replacement of apparently defective products. Complete, maintain, and process relevant paperwork and documentation, including records of customer complaints.Provide periodic reports to management, including compilations of customer complaints, trend analyses, and suggestions for improvement.Review available technical literature to maintain an awareness of current laboratory practices and procedures.Provide on-site product installation and customer training, as needed.Act as a Technical Specialist between Customers, Sales, and Product Management.Participate in validating new products, customer evaluations of existing products, and application support.Skills you need for the role:HT/HTL certification.5+ years of laboratory experience is required.Ability to work in a field team environment, and must be customer-focused with appropriate sensitivity and sense of urgency for customer issues. Customer-facing skills are necessary.Position requires maintaining ongoing professional certifications, technical accuracy, and overall development of product knowledge as applicable. Position may include periodic involvement in product development projects or pre-market testing of new products.The position requires an excellent communicator with above-average demonstrated troubleshooting skills and diplomacy.Up to 75% travel is required and may involve urgent customer needs.Must possess a valid driver’s license.Associate's degree in a Life Science field is preferred.What we offer:Health and Retirement Benefits starting on day 1.Paid Holidays.Company car.6% 401k Match.#LI-KW1
