Will also be responsible for Syspro item master and BOM entry, part ordering, part follow-up, and supplier development tracking during this launch program period. Additionally, they are also responsible for coordination of all material planning efforts between departments.SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

Manages eBOM-to-mBOM conversion(s) during the launch program phase.Works with PLM system to maximize functionalityWorks with Purchasing Agents to place and manage development, certification, and initial shipsets part purchase ordersDetails status on any items affecting the production lineEnsures 100% material availability, placing long-lead material items on order ahead of full drawing and eBOM releaseWorks with Supply Chain to ensure 100% OTD from supply baseDemonstrates teamwork, ownership, and leadershipGENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and ExperienceEducation: High School or equivalent accreditation requiredExperience:5 years or more previous experience in Materials Planning roleSkills:Oral and written communication skills, both amongst peers and supervisorsResults OrientedPreferred Skills/Experience:Advanced working knowledge in Microsoft Excel and ProjectOther:Extended or irregular hours may be required.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Adient Aerospace is an “at-will” employer; employment is at the mutual consent of both the employee and the employer, and may be terminated at will for any reason, with or without cause, at any time during employment with the Company.As business conditions warrant a change in the operating necessities of the Company, all employees are expected to react productively, handle other essential tasks assigned now or in the future.Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at a division.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsCERTIFICATES AND LICENSESAPICS and PMP certificationSUPERVISION PROVIDED TO THE POSITIONDirection is provided for assignments in terms of desired outcome (goals), timing and budget.
