In an era of unprecedented disruption, OX is built to transform.Position DescriptionThe Business Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting efforts to secure new client opportunities and drive business growth. In this position, you will work closely with the business development and marketing teams to implement strategies focused on expanding the client base. Your responsibilities include managing tasks related to client acquisition and coordinating various initiatives and events, ensuring all tasks are delivered on time and meet quality standards. This position reports directly to the Director of Business Development.Responsibilities & Duties
Collaborate with the business development team to deliver administrative and research support, ensuring smooth operations and informed decision-making.Organize and facilitate events, meetings, appointments and conferences with prospective clients.Track proposal outcomes, collaborate with the pitch lead for follow-up actions, and update tracking systems to reflect progress and status.Write and distribute agendas, proposals, cost estimates and briefing documents for internal and external meetings.Support the development and execution of presentations and pitches.Create and maintain CRM systems to track leads, client information, and progress on business development activities.Assist with the coordination of trade shows and status reporting.Manage timelines and deliverables for various business development initiatives to meet project deadlines.Other duties as assigned by your manager.Required Experience
0-3 years of project management or business development experience at a design, marketing, digital agency or similar creative environment.Previous internship in project management or business development preferred.Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Strong time management skills with the ability to facilitate multiple business development initiatives at a time.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to take initiative and exemplify a “get it done” attitude.Proficiency with online collaboration tools (Google Drive or Microsoft 365), proficiency with Word and Excel, and experience with CRM software is a bonus.LocationChicago / HybridHow to Apply
