This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations team (GTIO), where our mission is to deliver modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonald’s works. We provide outstanding foundational technology products and services including Global Networking, Cloud, End User Computing, and IT Service Management. It’s our goal to always provide an engaging, relevant, and simple experience for our customers.The Cloud Technical Product Analyst role is part of the Cloud Operations team in Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations. The role collaborates with the Sr. Manager - Cloud Operations and is responsible for driving the Cloud platform engineering outcomes, managing the agile product and process, directing a team of Cloud engineers, and driving alignment with the Cloud Platform Engineering teams (Cloud Business Office, DevSecOps, Security) and consumers of the Cloud.Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Manages day-to-day release management, reporting, and coordination for cloud changes.Contributes to the end-to-end ownership of features from ideation through implementation and through maintenance and support.Provides the functional design of the business requirements in a manner well understood by the developers and provides acceptance criteria.Writes epics, user stories, acceptance criteria in automation scripts and participates in all agile events of the product group as a team leader.Collaborates with other product teams, technical architects, developers, and tech leads to understand the technology roadmap for modernization.Verifies the results of testing and raises defects/issues against the features owned.Completes the end-to-end testing of the feature and provides sign-off for the code release into production.Validates the production release by working with business users using test accounts in production environment.Builds and maintains strong working relationships with multiple diverse collaborators across the company, including members of executive leadership.Understands sophisticated customer issues, converting them into problem statements and provides out of box solutions through design thinking.Qualifications:
Passion for Cloud and DevOps technology, and knowledge of industry structure, trends and influential companies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts, and ideas in a clear, concise manner to senior stakeholders.Demonstrated capabilities working in Jira, Confluence, Service Now, Tableau and/or Power BI.Strong curiosity and a willingness to learn and talk about new technologies along with a positive and enthusiastic engagement style.Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:
At least 1-2 years of experience in change and design initiatives, covering areas such as cloud, operations, technology, and product development.Experience collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-parties to deliver and manage implementation of solutions.Certification: AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.Experience in one or more of the following: cloud infrastructure, SaaS, big data, security and privacy, development and operations, or artificial intelligence/machine learning.Experience:
3+ years of product execution / technical business analyst experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years relevant experience and a Master’s degree.Experience defining user experience needs, writing epics, stories, and acceptance criteria in any automation scripting language such as Gherkin etc.Direct experience leading an Agile team.Demonstrated experience in conducting user research.Additional Information:
