In this position, you will be working with a team and coordinating the daily functions of the airport cargo functions. You will be responsible for ensuring precision and quality in your daily work.WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A WAREHOUSE MANAGEROversee the operations and daily activities of the warehouseManage and maintain inventory levels to ensure sufficient supplies and materials for production without overstockingImplement and monitor effective warehouse storage practices for optimal space utilization and safetyLead, train, and develop warehouse staff to enhance productivity and efficiencyDevelop and maintain a safe working environment, conducting regular safety audits and training sessionsUtilize warehouse management systems to monitor inventory and generate reports on stock levels, orders, and discrepanciesNegotiate with transport companies and manage logistics to optimize shipping and receiving efficienciesMonitor operational costs, budgeting, and resource allocation to reduce expenses and improve cost-effectivenessCollaborate with other department managers to integrate logistics with company processes, such as sales, marketing, and customer servicePrepare performance reports for management, detailing warehouse activity and performance issuesEnsure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ISO requirements related to warehousing and distributionBrings their “A” game every day with energy and enthusiasm, respect for their team, and the highest regard for safetyMay be assigned other duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesMust provide their own hand toolsMust have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documentsAbility to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenAirlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysPHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:Ability to lift up to 70 poundsProlonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicableMust be able to reach with arms and grasp with handsMust be able to push, pullMust be able to bend, stretch, squatMust be able to crawl and crouch, at times, in confined tight spacesMust be able to climb and work at elevated heightsExposure to moderate and at times high noise levelsBe able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarmsClose vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)The pay rate listed on this post is what the company reasonably expects to pay for this position.
