Position SummaryThe quality control supervisor is responsible for all of the quality control in the organization. This person supervises the quality control department which includes the QC team personnel. The QC Supervisor takes pride in ensuring that every order is up to par and can make quick and efficient decisions when the orders aren't up to standard. This person handles all quality control issues that arise per shift and works closely with leads to determine all needed information. This person champions the first impression training to ensure each member joining the QC team learns from the best. The QC Supervisor works with all internal departments to ensure QC all around and handle proper feedback, developments and training needed to ensure quality is kept at the highest standard.Top PrioritiesChampion all quality related processes to proactively minimize issues and ensure all team members are confident in quality as it pertains to their role.Work closely with all team members on each shift to ensure company standards are met and QC duties are fulfilled.Build QC team members to their highest potential of ensuring anything less than perfect is caught and proper measures are taken to make the necessary adjustments.Position DutiesSign off on first production print with press lead, production manager/shift supervisor after comparing physical sample or mock up.Highlight potential issues with press team & belt catchers to ensure proactive high level communication.Work with direct report for final decision of what is documented as a misprint.Perform Damages Training Form on major QC issues.Update the D&D in the platform & communicate findings with production and account managers if needed.Execute proper training with the press team that was involved in the mistake to ensure a root cause is identified.Daily spot checks of Print, Fulfillment, Tagging, and Embroidery for product consistency in comparison to sample.Continuous training and supervision of Process and Team Members for Quality Assurance.Every order is confirmed by the QC Supervisor first, or QC Lead prior to moving to another department.Prep samples for the next day with QC Auditor and address any concerns.Make sure the best of the best TOPs are pulled when needed.Assure sample orders have been executed to the highest quality.Career DevelopmentQuality Control SupervisorQuality Control ManagerNational Quality Control ManagerQualifications/SkillsBilingual: Strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.5+ Years of industry experience.2+ Years of management or supervisory experience.Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, and very personable.Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Flexible, friendly, and engaging personality.Hands-on experience as a trainer or coach.Proven experience in Quality Control management.Employee BenefitsMedical Insurance Offering with United Healthcare (2 Options available).Dental|Vision|Life Insurance Offering with Mutual Of Omaha.401k Retirement Option.401k Company Match.Yearly Paid Time Off Benefits.Career Growth & Development.
