The Store Leadership Performance & Operations team elevates the performance, growth, and satisfaction of our Retail Store teams through developing and implementing strategic programs. Our initiatives are designed to drive business success while motivating and inspiring team members to perform at their best. As the Manager, Store Leadership Performance & Operations, you work collaboratively with the broader Global Retail Support (GRS) team and our People organization to launch only at Apple experiences for our teams, defining future Retail Store Leadership programs and Apple’s performance enablement strategy and operations.DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for leading the team that develops the strategies and programs that enable team excellence, development, and business performance. You will think through the employee journey end to end including the development of tools and metrics.Apply thought leadership to drive the design, development, implementation and management of strategic initiatives that align with Apple Retail priorities.Develop strategic programs that transform employee experiences and performance.Measure the impact and success of programs and gather insights to influence future enhancements or net new strategies.Manage complex global projects to major timeline turning points and ability to navigate large change management.Influence decisions through collaboration, leadership, and a customer-focused approach.Role model inclusive leadership behaviors and build, develop, and retain diverse teams.Minimum Qualifications10+ years experience in strategic program management, operations, people strategy, product management and/or management consultancy.5+ years of people management experience, including building and developing teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience designing and evolving organizational structures, hiring and developing diverse, highly motivated team members.Experience developing and rolling out critical initiatives with Retail experience a big plus.Experience leading programs at a global level, with considerations to local nuance and regulatory requirements.Ability to lead and navigate organizational change, implementing new insights and/or business process changes effectively.Outstanding organizational, documentation, and communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior executives.Knowledge of industry leading professional practices for performance enablement and employee experience and satisfaction.Demonstrated ability to analyze data and information, identify trends and problem statements, build innovative solutions and strategies, drive implementation and execution, and iterate. Show an intellectual curiosity to identify continuous improvement opportunities.Proven ability to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members.Compensation and BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,900 and $269,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
