Job Overview:Opportunity to join a global Medical company at their new state-of-the-art facility, managing the planning group of 4 across production control, incoming, receiving, stockroom activities, and production inventory control.Key Responsibilities:Developing, implementing, and continuously improving supply chain strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels, on-time delivery, and cost-efficient operations.Overseeing procurement of raw materials and chemicals, working closely with suppliers to ensure quality, price competitiveness, and timely deliveries. Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts to meet company requirements.Maintaining accurate inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and associated carrying costs. Using ERP systems to track and monitor inventory levels.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.5 years of experience in supply chain management within the chemical manufacturing industry, including experience with procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier management.Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and supply chain management software.Must be able to commute to the site near Raynham.
