We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Food Safety and Quality Manager to join our team in our Bloomington, Illinois Plant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our plant operates in full compliance with all Food Safety and Quality standards, as defined by our Group Food Safety & Quality department. Your primary mission will be to oversee the implementation of all guidelines necessary to manage the overall Food Safety and Quality within the plant, ensuring that our products and production processes meet the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.This is an on-site position, five days a week.Main Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire FSQ process, from raw material and packaging acceptance to finished product quality, ensuring all aspects align with FSQ standards.Drive the execution of FSQ plans and initiatives at the plant level, ensuring adherence to central guidelines, legal standards, and the Ferrero Product Plan.Conduct regular audits, sampling plans, and use company information systems to measure compliance, ensuring effective implementation of FSQ guidelines based on HACCP methodologies (including standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 22000).Lead Food Safety improvement initiatives, perform risk assessments, and manage CAPA methods to prevent potential risks.Monitor plant operations to maintain FSQ protocols, and provide necessary interventions to ensure adherence to certifications and central standards.Assist during investigations, inspections, and visits by internal and external authorities. Offer technical support to production teams and ensure accurate collection of industrial FSQ KPIs.Manage and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture that upholds our Group values and promotes competence development.Who we are looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science/Technology, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.8+ years of experience in Quality roles within structured Food Companies.Strong leadership, team management, cross-functional collaboration, decision-making, and excellent communication skills.Willingness to travel internationally when required.How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
