As our Senior Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Manager, you will drive Lean Initiatives throughout the supply chain organization. You will utilize your continuous improvement skills to drive our supply chain organization and manufacturing operations to an excellent world-class status now, and in the years to come.Responsibilities:
Leading supply chain continuous improvement initiatives to achieve KPI goals in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.Driving transformational changes in manufacturing through adoption and employment of cutting-edge automation technologies.Facilitating continuous improvement efforts throughout the corporation, through collaboration with suppliers and Motorola Solution teams outside the supply chain.Managing multiple projects and teams within the Supply Chain organization.Creating training materials for new employees, and the mentoring programs.Serving as the Lean subject matter expert for all operations within Supply Chain.Presenting information to Senior and Executive level management in-person or virtually.Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills verbal and writtenData Analysis skillsStrong process improvement skillsStrong leadership skillsQuality assuranceAbility to present to executive leadershipSeven years of Managerial experienceSeven years of experience working in a Manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of all Supply Chain functions preferredCandidates must reside in the Chicagoland area to be considered for this position.Basic Requirements
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.Seven years of experience in Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma certification in Green or Black Belt required.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
