- You have a design portfolio that showcases your ability to design software that is beautiful, powerful, and intuitive. You've designed complex enterprise software before. Within the observability or data analytics space is a huge plus.Strong design craft
- You have a deep desire to make things look and feel good! A superb attention to detail, a love for making a pleasing experience, and you want to build great products for people to enjoy using.Independent and product-minded
- We're a very small and nimble team. We not only follow the roadmap, but take the initiative when we spot opportunities to improve the product. Not only are you able to take things on your own when needed, you also love to collaborate. Also a low ego and an eagerness to give and receive constructive feedback in a transparent work environment.Excited about solving complex problems

You should find the nature of this to be exciting and a great opportunity for strong design to have a hand in shaping these solutions.What you'll be doing...Deliver high-quality, polished, delightful, and easy-to-use designsHelp the team work more effectively while raising the quality bar for our user experienceSet design strategy for the projects focusing on customer-based outcomes and the long-term vision of the productHelp shape the visual direction of both the product and brandDesign and communicate your vision to the team using mock-ups, documentation, and prototypesExecute at every stage of the design lifecycle from ideation to deliveryPartner effectively across the org in order to help deliver a cohesive experience for our customersContribute to and improve the design systemWork closely with other designers on large and complex featuresParticipate and shape the design team’s cultureYour designs are always evolving - seek impact over perfectionKeep abreast of competitor products and trends; perform competitive and comparative analysis to understand existing patternsCompensation:
$166,000 - $230,000 a year, depends on experience, location, etc.This is a local role at our San Mateo offices. We expect at least 3 days a week in-office if you live on the SF peninsula (within 20mi of San Mateo, including SF).
