Senior Manager, Project Management Lead
to support the
Transformation Management Office (TMO)
team to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met.This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of critical projects on time, within scope and budget, in accordance with TBG’s governance frameworks. The Senior Manager will focus on strategic alignment, risk management, and driving value through efficient project execution. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Additional Responsibilities:Lead the development and governance of the Project Management Methodology to ensure alignment with TBG’s corporate objectives and business goalsManage strategic projects, prioritizing tasks and ensuring resources are aligned for timely and efficient executionOversee and support PMs, ensuring work aligns with the project objectives and contributes to the successful execution of the overall TMO objectivesCollaborate with key stakeholders to establish project business cases, timelines, and resource allocation, and to integrate change management into project workflows for smooth transitions and adoptionFoster innovation and identify opportunities to drive strategic improvements in project management practices and processes across the organizationMentor and develop future project leaders, fostering leadership growth within the project management teamManage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with the TMO’s project goals, timelines, and deliverables, especially for contractor management and external resourcesLead data-driven decision-making efforts, utilizing key insights to monitor project health and adjust strategies to drive optimal outcomesOversee risk and crisis management by developing contingency plans and ensuring the team is prepared to handle potential disruptionsDrive cross-functional collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment on project deliverables and shared objectives throughout the organizationRegularly report to the TMO Lead on project status, risks, and key milestonesHelp standardize PMO methodologies and best practices across the organization, ensuring consistency and excellence in project executionIdentify and implement lessons learned for broader application across projectsDevelop business case studies post-project close to capture insights and promote continuous improvement within the PMOSupport the development and deployment of the PMO playbook and toolkit to enhance the organization's project management capabilitiesRequirements:Minimum of
5+ years of experience
managing large-scale, cross-functional projects with a proven track record of successful deliveryProven ability to
develop and execute project management strategies , governance frameworks, and methodologies within a fast-paced environmentStrong background in
strategic portfolio management , with experience aligning projects to business objectives and managing competing prioritiesBachelor’s degree
in Business, Engineering, or related field required;
Master’s degree
in Business Administration or Project Management is strongly preferredFormal certification in
Project Management (PMP)
or
Program Management (PgMP)
is strongly preferred; certifications in
Agile methodologies
(e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM) are highly desirableExpertise in using
Smartsheets
and
Tempus
for project management is strongly preferredStrong
data-driven decision-making
capabilities to track project health and drive better outcomesCrisis management
experience, including the ability to create contingency plans and handle disruptions effectivelyExceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and motivate teamsProven ability to manage
multiple competing priorities
