King of Prussia, PACompany Overview : A leading, global biopharma company is looking for a procurement professional to join their team and help shape the large molecule and vaccine drug substances from their external network.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans.Lead contract negotiations and manage ongoing contracts with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) for both commercial production and late-phase clinical products.Analyze market trends to benchmark the CMO landscape, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.Work cross functionally with key internal stakeholders on business strategy.Set financial budgets for contract manufacturing, incorporating pricing negotiations and volume forecasting.Establish and monitor CMO performance metrics, promoting continuous improvement.Deliver contracts that emphasize value creation, critical terms, and effective cost control.Maintain procurement policies and compliance standards, including third-party risk management.Lead and develop a team of category managers.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, procurement or a relevant technical field.8+ years' experience in global procurement and management.Experience within the BioPharma space with large molecule and vaccine CMO's.Experience leading and managing a team.Masters degree- preferred.Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external networks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with Strong project and change management skills.Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.Benefits:Dental, Medical, VisionGenerous PTO and Holidays401k MatchHybrid Flexibility: 2-3 days in officeOpportunity to be part of a growing team and making a differenceMore!
