SodexoMAGIC offers our dedicated service via the following Sodexo segments: Corporate Services, Hospitals, K-12 Schools, Universities.Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Jackson South Medical Center located in Miami, FL. Jackson South Medical Center offers a full spectrum of services and is staffed by nationally respected, board-certified physicians and healthcare professionals who practice a wide array of specialties and subspecialties. The hospital offers private rooms, an expanded emergency department, new operating room suites with state-of-the-art technology, and more.The successful candidate will:be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance;have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems;be responsible for food management and scheduling;preferably have KRONOS experience.Key Duties:- Implement & coordinate the culinary function.- Direct & train cooks & utility workers.- Ensure food preparation & production meets operational standards.- Manage catering, retail areas, and support patient dining.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.- Manage food & physical safety programs and inventory controls.Sodexo offers a full array of benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401K and access to ongoing training and development programs, tuition reimbursement, plus health and wellness programs.What We Offer:Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
