General Summary of PositionResponsible for coordinating, managing, and executing fundraising special events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in the development and execution of event plans and timelines for a variety of engagement events.Coordinates event logistics, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, audiovisual needs, and transportation.Works closely with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure seamless event execution.Provides on-site support during events, including setup, registration, coordination of activities, and troubleshooting.Assists in the preparation and distribution of event materials.Assists in the creation of event invitations, programs, and other collateral.Ensures accurate and timely communication with attendees before, during, and after events.
Minimum QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree required.
Experience1-2 years of experience in event management; philanthropy experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated success in event management. Strong organizational skills. Acumen to engage and support senior leadership, staff, and volunteers in event management. A high level of professionalism, creativity, and integrity coupled with an ability to earn the confidence of a wide range of constituencies and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
This position has a hiring range of $23.19 - $40.61.
