Our client is a unique startup with an automated UAV solution for large industrial customers. They are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to join their team. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ, their global HQ.The key responsibilities of this position include managing all aspects of strategic, short-term & long-term planning decision making, working across departments such as the global sales, business development, finance, and supply chain teams. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end S&OP process, with all management reviews, prepare all data & metrics, identify gaps/potential issues, conduct deep dive analysis, evaluate & assess scenarios guide to assist with final decision making, suggesting escalations for executive reviews where appropriate for driving revenue and understanding net working capital needs & headcount impacts.Job Requirements:• Education Bachelor’s degree or professional supply chain certification preferred• 6-8 years of S&OP, Supply Chain management, demand/ inventory experience• Experienced in leading S&OP functional area in fast pace innovation industry, within the aerospace industry – a plus• Experienced working with the global organization and regional cultures• Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organization goals• Strong background and understanding of supply chain management principles such as Production Planning, Purchasing, Forecasting and Logistics• Strong analytical, organization, decision making, and presentation skills to working level and executive levels• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external business partners• Solid experience and knowledge for Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) Process Management• Advance skills working with software packages, MRP/ERP systems, high competency in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management• Experience in working with matrix, face-paced, and product with a highly regulated environment• Lead and influence cross-functional teams to make timely and business-critical decisions• Excellent communication with written, verbal and presentation skills to all levels of audiences• Strong data analytics and report preparation skills• Resourceful in resolutions, initiating continuous improvements and drive operational excellence and best practices• Experience with Oracle, Salesforce, Jira Systems – advantage• Work experience in startup environments – advantageJob Duties:• Lead the establishment and execution of S&OP processes through collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations in alignment to business strategies and objectives• Run weekly S&OP cross-functional reviews that lead to monthly executive S&OP summaries to provide planning and recommendations for the executive leadership, including mitigation actions• Responsible for client sales lead to contract milestones tracking and follow up to ensure that performance and planning goals are met through the S&OP process• Responsible for managing of the S&OP key performance indicators• Own and manage S&OP calendar of events, meeting recaps and action plan, issue resolution, and tracking demand/supply mitigating actions• Develop and implement new and/or improved tools to ensure timely measurement, reports, and visibility to Product Supply Status to drive improvements with key stakeholders• Evaluate supplier delivery performance and capability, build into the S&OP process risk mitigating approaches to manage supplier performance and supply chain risk assessments• Support inventory strategies toward inventory optimization through effective S&OP execution in alignment with demand and supply planning execution• Assist to quantify and define the scope for capacity, resource, logistics, and supply chain planning• Design an efficient supply chain for the entire system and aftermarket requirements• Select suppliers for all components used in the system• Negotiate pricing for off-the-shelf components and custom made parts on a quarterly basis• Identify and select ODM and EMS partners for design and manufacturing. Establish the contract (MSA), the SOW and negotiate the pricing for assembly and testing• Transfer products from current manufacturing companies to US/Mexico supply base• Project manager the entire transfer of products to outsourced partners• Execute the NPI process to bring new design and products from R&D into manufacturing• Manage the entire Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products• Execute the ECO’s into the supply chain and negotiate potential excess/obsolete material and price impact• Create a production and delivery plan for all internal and external suppliers (supply planning)• Manager the raw material Warehouse and prepare kits for internal and outsourced manufacturing partners• Negotiate pricing for shipment of products and parts as well as packaging of systems• Execute all shipping for raw material, systems and spare parts worldwide• Establish a supply chain team in the US, hire and train the required resources• Develop reporting including BOM pricing, material inventory and cost down potentials• Lead and manage the Supply chain team to achieve quarterly and yearly goals• Issue PO’s for all material and services and approve spending based on Budget and forecast• Manage and negotiate claims with partners and suppliers• Create process and manufacturing documentation in order to assemble and test the product• Design and develop manufacturing fixtures and source or assembly to provide to partners
