Responsibilities of this position include:Inspecting component parts manufactured in-house and purchased from outside vendors;Preparing inspection reports and maintaining databases;Testing and troubleshooting components and finished products to address quality issues;Working with design and manufacturing engineers to improve product design and manufacturing processes.QualificationsWe require a hands-on professional with attention to detail and the ability to think through problems and implement solutions. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:College degree from a 2- or 4-year college, plus 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to use a wide variety of measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators and coordinate measuring machines.Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and drawings.Ability to prepare and complete inspection forms and related documentation.Knowledge of standard quality procedures.CompensationWe offer an excellent salary and benefits package, including:Great salary and bonus, depending on level of skill and experience.Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance plans (HMO and PPO) with optional dental and vision coverage.Disability and life insurance.Profit-sharing and 401(k) plan with company match.(10) paid holidays, (10) paid time off (PTO) days and (5) paid sick leave (PSL) days a year.Guardian Equipment Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, committed to developing and retaining a diverse work force and providing a safe and healthy work environment.
