Hershey Medical CenterResponsible to work with the Department Chair(s) and assigned Administrator to provide leadership for clinical, academic, research, and community missions for the Clinical Department. Provides daily operational oversight in all areas of assigned responsibility to include clinical offices, clinical support services, patient care areas and where appropriate, College of Medicine (COM) staff including research labs. Manages capital, human and material resources. Responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations. Works with the Outpatient Director(s) and Medical Director(s) to identify and coordinate new and existing service opportunities within the (Penn State Hershey Medical Group) PSHMG. Utilizes pertinent information and data in the development of policies, procedures and training to enhance service, quality and cost.
