ExemptPosition Summary:
The Branch Manager provides daily leadership and supervision to branch staff employees, and assures that all daily branch functions are completed. The Branch Manager facilitates communications between branch, corporate offices and customers/referrals.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain Branch Inventory
Assure appropriate levels of equipment and suppliesTrack all consigned equipmentAssure all equipment maintenance is properly performed and documented
Assign Work Schedules
Develop route schedules and assign daily workloadsAssure timely deliveries, setups, and pickups of supplies and equipmentAssure on-call coverageAssure timely and accurate paperwork
Branch Employee Supervision
Assist Regional Operations Manager(s) with employee relationsInterview and select employeesConduct employee performance appraisals, coaching, and reviewsReview and approve time cards for payrollMaintain employee satisfactionDiscipline and release employees
Employee Training
Orient new employees to branch operationsAdminister employee competenciesOversee annual and ongoing training
Maintain Customer Satisfaction
Assure positive customer relations with the VA, referrals, and patients
Comply with regulatory agencies
including the Joint Commission, FDA, DOT, Board of Pharmacy, and OSHA.Communications
Communicate branch needs to Regional Operations ManagerCommunicate to/with referral sources in branch territoryCommunicate all relevant information from corporate offices to branch employees
Respiratory Therapist duties
(applicable only if the Branch Manager is also a registered Respiratory Therapist)
Set up patients; Provide comprehensive instruction, follow up and ongoing support of high technology modalities; Serve as a clinical resource to internal and external customer groups
Qualification Requirements:
Education/Experience:
3-5 years experience as a service technician, respiratory therapist or employed by NRS is desired; 1 - 3 years previous supervisory or management experience desired.Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to listen, write and speak clearly. Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions in a variety of formats.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.Time Management:
Ability to work independently, organize and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.Safety/Security:
Actively promotes and personally observes all safety and security procedures, and uses all equipment and materials properly.Abilities:
Excellent training and teaching skills. Ability to promote our business to the consumer and referral sources.Computer Skills:
Experience with MS Word and Excel software, web browsers, scanning and email.Equipment Used:
Company vehicleOffice equipment - computer, fax machine, scannerLiquid Oxygen Filling station (if applicable to assigned branch)Work Environment:
