With a 40+ year heritage, Micross possesses the design, manufacturing and logistics expertise needed to support an application from start to finish.This role is responsible for supporting the site by administering and coordinating direct activities as they relate to HR Operations. Responsibilities include day-to-day duties within functional areas such as recruitment, on-boarding, training, benefits/open enrollment, leave of absence administration, Workers’ Comp. safety, performance management, employee relations, off-boarding, and payroll/HRIS. This role will be a partner to the business, developing strong relationships with managers and employees by delivering customer-focused HR solutions that align with employee interests and company goals.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for all aspects of recruitment including but not limited to req. approval, job posting, sourcing, prescreening, interviewing, offer letters, background checks, and e-Verify.Manage the on and off-boarding process (new hire orientations/exit interviews).Complete bi-weekly payroll data entry and support managers by verifying timesheet completion; payroll submission managed by corporate.Provide HR consulting and counseling to managers and employees for all facets of HR.Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of personnel records.Coordinate employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs.Assist in the completion of applicant flow, affirmative action plan EEO-1 report annually.Responsible for Worker’s Compensation and OSHA administration and reporting.Maintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and compile reports from the database.Stay current on state and federal laws and maintain proper labor law postings for the facility.Experience/Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree.Seven plus years of HR experience.Effective communication skills (written & verbal) with all levels of employees.Results-focused self-starter, team player who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Must be a US person.Perform other duties as assigned.
