Chemonics seeks a Coordinator, Operations to join the
Europe and Eurasia (E&E) Business Unit.
The Coordinator, Operations is responsible for administering established operations principles and tools for the operations of the business unit (BU). In this capacity, the coordinator follows established processes and procedures that address the administration of corporate human resources (HR), information technology (IT), and finance support systems as well as internal operational issues. The coordinator will be assigned routine and defined operations tasks, as well as project administration tasks assignments as directed by supervisor. They may be asked to provide support to archiving, audits, and closed project management, and may be asked to fill supportive roles on new business proposals.
This role requires on-site work in our Washington, DC office location as part of our hybrid, flexible work structure.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.Responsibilities:Assists in responding appropriately and quickly to requests for support; follows established policies, processes, and procedures.Follows up on assigned operations tasks within established processes and procedures.Organizes meetings and drafts meeting agendas.Prepares correspondence for immediate supervisor for review and signature.Organizes and maintains executive files and oversees BU filing systems.Backstops operations team on their overseas assignments.Assists with archiving, audits, and management of closed projects.Assists proposal teams in specific line roles, including past performance writer, corporate capabilities writer, or other roles as appropriate under supervision.Tracks all staff travel, leave schedules, and contact information.Provides travel support for employees and consultants by gathering relevant travel information, reserving tickets, and seeking necessary travel authorizations and approvals; liaises with travelers to collect expense reports and required backup documentation.Prepares and distributes BU calendar of activities, deadlines, and staff vacation and travel.Coordinates with office services and IT support on facility, equipment, and supply needs.Prepares and files personnel forms, purchase orders, travel authorizations, and other standard forms.Assists with calendar management/scheduling and meeting preparation for executive(s).Helps prepare presentation materials, documents, and other printed materials.Performs other duties as required.Requirements:Associates degree or equivalent work experience.Experience with data entry, filing, cataloguing, retrieving, and preserving records preferred.Communicates clearly and concisely in verbally and in writing.Demonstrated experience multitasking with attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.Demonstrated experience following standard practices and procedures, receiving general instruction and supervision, and contributing to projects and initiatives, whether in an academic or professional setting.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Works independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated resourcefulness in problem-solving and initiative to learn new skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Application Instructions:Apply by
