We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, fast-paced, and hard-working individual with a background in cell & molecular biology and excellent knowledge of neurological and motor neurological diseases. This newly generated position is based at iXCells Biotechnologies’ headquarters in San Diego and will report directly to the CEO of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Profitably grow and extend the company’s iPSC portfolio of products and services.
Develop product line strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of well-characterized disease-specific iPSC-derived cells that meet customer expectations for human cell-based model systems needed in translational research, drug discovery, and/or cell therapy.
Leverage iXCells’ business development team to develop efficient licensing & partnership strategies.
Develop business plans for iXCells’ new product and service innovations, including annual financial objectives, forecast, pricing, and margin optimizations.
Identify, analyze, and articulate market trends and customer needs.
Compile intelligence and competitive landscaping analyses and benchmark iXCells solutions against competitors.
Evaluate market and customer needs and liaise with iXCells’ science team to define new product and/or service innovations.
Liaise with iXCells’ sales & marketing department on market research activities and go-to-market strategies.
Required Qualifications
Master or PhD in Neuroscience, Neurology, or related fields.
Hands-on experience in generating, editing, and differentiating iPS cells and characterizing iPSC-derived cell types.
Excellent understanding of the biology and genetics of neurological and motor neurological diseases.
MBA preferred.
3+ years of experience in product management in a life science tool, cell biology, drug screening, or cell therapy company.
Excellent understanding of the competitive landscape in the iPSC space.

Salary and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position, based in San Diego, is estimated between $140,000 to $170,000 depending on experience. This position may also be eligible for a variable annual bonus based on performance results in accordance with company policy.
