Position SummaryAetna is recruiting for a Sr. Manager role who will serve as a Delivery Lead for the Provider Network Platform Solutions organization.

This strategic role will be responsible for driving the successful execution of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that have significant IT components. The Delivery Leads will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives while fostering effective collaboration across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the end-to-end delivery of complex, strategic projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration and communication among stakeholders from various business units and technology teams.

Identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues promptly and proposing effective solutions to overcome project challenges.

Implement robust project management methodologies, tailoring them to the specific needs of each initiative while maintaining alignment with organizational standards.

Work closely with business partners and subject matter experts to thoroughly understand project objectives, desired outcomes, and success criteria.

Partner with SMEs and project sponsors to develop comprehensive value realization plans, defining measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and tracking mechanisms to monitor project value delivery.

Conduct regular progress reviews and provide transparent reporting on project performance, value realization, and return on investment (ROI).

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization to enhance project outcomes and value delivery.

Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Facilitate collaborative decision-making processes, ensuring alignment among diverse stakeholder groups and fostering a culture of open communication.

Develop a deep understanding of business needs, industry trends, and organizational goals to propose innovative solutions that drive strategic outcomes.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, fostering a collaborative and consultative approach to project delivery.

Exercises sound judgment and critical thinking skills, demonstrates analytical/problem-solving skills.

Drive requirement sessions, align with business & IT stakeholder, document needs.

Responsible for driving clear incremental business value with program/project delivery.

Create, organize and manage product backlogs and ongoing prioritization.

Responsible for Product Roadmap and managing stakeholder expectations.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years’ experience in health insurance industry, preferably in a role related to network, provider, or payer operations.

Deep understanding of the Provider Data domain.

Demonstrated experience collaborating with business partners to understand their strategy, problems, and goals.

Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to make informed business decisions.

Proven consultation and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Project or Project management training/certification.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.40.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
