With an initial focus on BPH, the company’s AQUABEAM Robotic System delivering Aquablation therapy is the first FDA-cleared, automated surgical robot for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Aquablation therapy combines real-time, multi-dimensional imaging, automated robotics, and heat-free waterjet ablation for targeted, controlled, and immediate removal of prostate tissue. What Your Day-To-Day Work Involves:
Perform in-process and final inspection of disposables and capital equipment to ensure product quality.Perform Device History Record reviews to ensure compliance with GDP.Perform incoming inspections per drawings or specifications as required.Maintain incoming inspection files according to PROCEPT’s procedures.Assist with nonconformance investigations and reporting.Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends regarding inspection results.Train employees to core competencies as required.Assist with the equipment management process as required.Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.Update job knowledge by studying trends in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality and EHS policies.The Qualifications We Need You to Possess:
5+ years of industry experience.Basic knowledge of ISO13485:2016.Ability to interpret CAD drawings.Experience using measurement instruments – CMM, OMM, surface plate setups, calipers, micrometers, profilometer, vision equipment, and other tools.Ability to use Microsoft Excel to perform basic operations and data reporting.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.The Qualifications We Would Like You to Possess:
