Position Summary:

The Advertising & Sponsor Engagement Specialist provides administrative, relationship and operational support for the exhibition, sponsorship, and advertising sales team. This role works closely with the Events, Content and Marketing teams to help create sales promotional materials for NAR’s various events, programs and products. The Advertising & Sponsor Engagement Specialist reports to the Director of Sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides operations and administrative support for the NAR exhibition, sponsorship, and advertising sales teams.

Responsible for sales and fulfillment for all non-dues revenue products to internal NAR teams.

Coordinate sponsorship fulfillment details, as needed, through expo resume portal.

Update order forms as needed to align with opportunities.

Process GL transfers on a timely basis and reconcile finances on a monthly basis.

Work directly with the Media Finance and Program Manager to support internal ad insertions and financial records, including asset collections, providing proofing and creating Jira tickets.

Participate on non-dues revenue program calls to update on progress with sales, fulfillment and invoicing.

Maintains sales reporting, key data metrics to monitor progress against team sales goals.

Builds and maintains strong internal and external relationships to provide clear and timely communication.

Enters website updates and communicates directly with digital team.

Travels to NAR events, as needed, to assist in onsite registration, sponsorship and sales areas.

Work with CRM software to enter and maintain accurate records.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

5+ years sales, sales support, administrative, marketing, or other directly relevant experience.

Experience working in sales support for trade show/conferences, print advertising and digital/web products.

Experience with complex, high-dollar sales in a relationship-driven market desired.

Excellent people skills with strong customer service orientation.

Deadline and detail oriented with accurate follow-through.

Excellent project, organizational and time management skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including good phone and email manners.

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Jira, Workfront, and Smartsheets and willingness to learn new programs as introduced.

Ability to work as part of a team while achieving individual goals.

Ability to travel up to 15%.

Compensation: $62,000 - $78,000, depending on office location.
