Chicago, IL - Driehaus College of BusinessResponsibilities:The Department of Economics at DePaul University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the level of Assistant Professor in the area of applied microeconomics. We are particularly interested in candidates who employ cutting-edge empirical techniques to examine policy relevant issues related to public, labor, urban, environmental, and health economics.Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the candidate's field of specialty.Produce high-quality original research.Collaborate with colleagues and actively contribute to the intellectual life of the department.Participate in departmental and university service activities.Application Deadline:

Preference will be given to applications received prior to December 1, 2024.Required Qualifications:Ph.D. in Economics or closely related field by the start date.Demonstrated potential for producing significant contributions to the area of applied microeconomics.Strong teaching skills and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.Proficiency with modern econometric tools and data analysis techniques.DePaul draws students of many backgrounds and cultures in a diverse urban setting.
