Job Responsibilities
Meet or exceed both revenue and gross profit objectives outlined by management, while maintaining competitive pricing in the marketplace within their defined geography.
Manage and develop assigned area business relationships by working with Market Managers and Territory Managers and providing management summary reports as required.
Hiring, training, and managing a sales team in the assigned geography/product.
Supervise activities of the sales team and provide effective coaching to optimize the market engagement and representation of The Company.
Collaborate with management and cross-functional partners to forecast product sales, create initiatives, and set targets within the region.
Responsible for retaining and expanding existing company relationships for all product lines and assigned area(s).
Monitor and analyze market usage of our product; introducing new products.
Be a primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with key accounts alongside Market Managers.
Perform individual market analyses within assigned area to develop new customer strategies.
Represent Company in various civic and community functions to further enhance its image and develop additional business.
Monitor and approve expenses, schedules, and time off requests for team members.
Basic Qualifications
Associate degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years professional sales experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong people skills, negotiation skills, and sales skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Must have a current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Make appropriate judgments, keeping customer service, safety, and time sensitivity a priority.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
