This role involves building relationships with key clients and electrical vendors and ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive sales strategies for electric motor products and services. Identify market opportunities and set annual sales goals, KPIs, and forecasting. Conduct competitive analysis to maintain market edge.Leadership & Team Management:
Mentor a team of regional sales managers and sales engineers with electric motor products/services. Establish performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and conduct training for continuous development. Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture.Business Development & Client Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, manufacturers, and key industry players. Develop long-term partnerships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities. Negotiate contracts and agreements with major clients.Market Insights & Innovation:
Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs in the electrical sector. Collaborate with the product management team to identify new product opportunities. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand network and knowledge.Sales Operations & Reporting:
Establish and manage sales budgets, monitor expenses, and track profitability. Implement CRM tools and processes for accurate sales tracking and pipeline management. Provide detailed sales reports to senior leadership on performance, forecasts, and trends.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.Experience:
8+ years of experience in electrical or related product sales, with 3+ years in a leadership role. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of electrical products, distribution channels, and market trends.Skills:
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
