Job ID: 2795213 | Amazon.com Services LLCWe’re seeking a Sr. Talent Intelligence Strategist to partner with Talent Acquisition (TA) to drive location and talent/hiring strategies globally. The Sr. Talent Intelligence Strategist will enable the TA teams across regions to support business growth by enabling market intelligence and site strategy research. The role plays a critical part in building and growing our access to talent across multiple locations and partnering to help design recruiting strategies at scale. They will act as a true talent advisor, partnering closely with a diverse variety of customers including Talent Leaders, Recruiting Managers, Individual Contributors, Human Resources, finance, and business customers to drive strategy, goals, processes and metrics to enhance and lift the recruiting teams.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently to research, analyze data and create innovative geo-talent solutions to determine the best locations to grow our businesses- whether it’s competing in hyper-competitive markets or identifying an opportunity site to access niche, specialized skillsets in a specific locale. This person is curious, driven and solution oriented, and aims to understand global talent flows to support the future growth of our businesses.
Key job responsibilities
Mentor and coach Sourcers/Recruiters to extend current passive sourcing capability. Dive deep into strategies that are working (or not) to provide knowledge and lift to the recruiting teams.Contribute to the knowledge base of Talent Acquisition teams and Amazon by providing education on relevant industries and talent pools.Conduct research which impacts TA's ability to successfully recruit & retain talent globally.Write well researched data driven site strategy documents to contribute to organizational goals (cost savings, diversity, access to talent etc…).Inspect and analyze locations based on data and analytics to identify the most optimal geographies for site expansion per business needs.Proactively provide recommendations as a subject matter expert that directly influences leaders without authority.Provide strategic guidance and advice in a true partnership with executive leadership.Work across the organization with key stakeholders such as Human Resources, Compensation, and the Business to ensure a superior client and candidate experience.Track work progress and measure its success via regular metrics tracking.

Research: ability to learn new technology and product domains, and quickly understand and apply this knowledge into strategies for Talent Acquisition teams.Communication: ability to effectively engage the attention of stakeholders and articulate complex arguments in a polished and professional manner.Tact & High Judgement: knowing when to apply the right pressure and when to move on.Self-assured: ability to think on your feet and work on confidential projects with senior leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree.7+ years of Extensive corporate research, intelligence, talent analytics, or consulting experience.3+ years Direct experience managing complex talent intelligence and/or site strategy projects or programs that includes driving strategy with business leaders.Experience managing complex projects or programs with multiple cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.Corporate research, intelligence, talent analytics, or consulting experience.Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives.Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $187,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
