(Temporary) Program Specialist
for the Taskar Center for Accessible Technology.POSITION PURPOSEThis Program Specialist will manage the business functions and program coordination of the Taskar Center for Accessible Technology (TCAT), which develops and deploys open-source universally accessible technologies for populations with motor limitations or speech impairment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCenter Operation & Fiscal Management:Manage daily operations of the TCAT, including fiscal management across all funding streams, staffing allocations/HR activities, office administration, and procurement/reimbursements.Project Oversight:Monitor budgets for all TCAT projects, including the ongoing USDOT Complete Trips project.Proposal Budget Development and Grant/Contract Management:Prepare budgets for proposals and coordinate project staffing and HR needs.Sponsor Relations:Assist in establishing new contracts and grants with external research sponsors.Other Tasks as Assigned:Advise TCAT Director regarding Center funding and support proposal development.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or related field, and two years of related experience.Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS• Experience with Workday Software• Experience with navigating UW finance systemApplication Process:
