Johnstone Supply is seeking a dynamic results-driven Branch Manager to join our team. The individual will provide leadership and support across multiple branch locations. This is a training role and once a role opens in the respective market this individual will be placed with a branch.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Branch Manager - In Training include, but are not limited to:
Team Management
Establish, communicate, and model performance expectations for all team members.Ensure team members have the knowledge and skills to perform their jobs.Ensure performance expectations are met by monitoring reports, gathering feedback from customers, and observing performance.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, store operational records, documentation, and employee performance files.
Customer Sales and Service
Ensure customers receive prompt, professional service both in person and over the phone while working directly with customers.Manage counter sales transactions and ensure that team members increase sales through add-on and suggestive selling techniques.Support outside and inside sales activity, develop/implement sales programs and promotions.Ensure customer complaints and disputes are resolved in a timely, professional manner.Follow up on sales leads and inquiries to generate additional business.
Business Management and Financial Success
Establish sales and profitability goals for the store.Oversee customer returns, warranty processes, and balancing customer requests with company guidelines.Control store operational costs, including labor, supplies, utilities, etc. to ensure overall store profitability.
Administrative Tasks
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory movements.Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and phone/email correspondence.
General Results and Responsibilities
Adhere to and enforce all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.May represent Johnstone Supply at trade associations and events.BENEFITS

RequiredA high school diploma or equivalent is required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.People management skills.Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with computers and different software programs.Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift, and carry items up to 75 pounds.Preferred5+ years of management experience.DesiredHVAC or similar industry experience.
